Brigitte Bardot
Blackglama, the world's biggest seller of premium mink coats has had some legendary faces fronting it's campaigns. They've used a host of stars from film, music, dance and fashion over the years and have made some interesting choices to front their campaigns.
They obviously know their market extremely well (lots of rich elderly ladies) and have used many older models, often favouring Hollywood actresses decades after the height of their fame. Some of the older ladies look better than the young ones. It's interesting to see who's had a nip and tuck by a clever surgeon and who's not been so lucky.

How lovely to see Maggie Smith in there. Like you say, v. interesting to see the contrast between those who have had scary plastic surgery and those who appear to have aged gracefully without it.
This is one of the best set of pictures you have put up. Why don't brands use older models more often? These girls look amazing, my favourite is Joan Fontaine. I am really rubbish at picking up plastic surgery (same as I have a crap gaydar), but I think they are all awesome.

When I was growing up this campaign was THE ad campaign for fur. It branded mink like no other.
In my 20s when I got my first mink coat, a Blackglama of course, I imagined myself a legend in my own time! HA...what did I know!
I'm very pleased to see that they are reviving this campaign as it was very memorable and effective advertising.

Gorgeous I love the images of Catherine Deneuve and Brigitte Bardot the best .. I think it's that French think that they have going on ..Although like everyone else I love the image of Maggie Smith too a long way from Harry Potter xx
The older models are the best although Liza Minelli in 1973 is the most fabulous photo xx
